Lindze Lanae Letherman was born on November 2, 1988 in Fresno, California. Since Lindze was three, she knew she wanted to be on television. What her parents believed was just a phase, never passed. Her first acting experience came when she played Dorothy in her first-grade play, “The Wizard of Oz.” At age seven she joined a professional theater where she played Tiny Tim in “A Christmas Carol” and Marta in “The Sound of Music.”

In April 1996 Lindze and her parents decided to give Hollywood a chance. She quickly landed roles in commercials, her first a Colombo Yogurt commercial. Soon after she started booking guest starring appearances on hit TV shows like “Family Matters” and “Suddenly Susan.” Her first major film-role came alongside Robin Williams in the movie “Bicentennial Man,” followed by a supporting role in the film “Clockstoppers.” Following her success in a series of films, Lindze landed the lead in the WB pilot, “The (Mis)Adventures of Fiona Plum.” Eventually the WB dropped the project, but Lindze would not let this sidetrack her. In 2001 she landed the lead of Virginia in the film “Virginia's Run.” The part called for a strong background in horseback riding. With no previous experience Lindze dedicated herself to learning and performed all the stunts in the movie herself.

When the role of Georgie Jones on “General Hospital” came up, Lindze was initially against the idea. Film was her thing. Eventually talked into it by her manager and her agent, she made her first appearance on “General Hospital” in September 2002. What she initially believed would be a brief stint turned into a contract role. In her 6 years on the show, she gained the respect and praise of her peers and was one half the immensely popular, critically praised teen-couple Georgie and Dillon.

The summer of 2007 brought Lindze new opportunities. In addition to keeping up with the hectic, unpredictable schedule of filming a daytime drama, Lindze filmed episodes of the prime-time spin-off “General Hospital: Night Shift” and took on the lead role of Tori in the independent film “Stamped!” In November 2007 “General Hospital” made the difficult decision to kill Lindze’s character, Georgie. Fans were devastated but Lindze took the news in stride and was eager to see what the future had in store for her. Lindze’s jump into the next phase of her career was temporarily sidetracked as the entertainment community was faced with the realities of a writer’s strike. During that time Lindze took on the roles of Maddie Whittaker on “Life In General” and Tracy Coleman on “Greenville General,” both Karen Harris projects to air exclusively on www.strike.tv.

Currently Lindze lives in Los Angeles where she is actively pursing the next step in her career.
